If you've had a cat for any length of time, you probably already know that they can make wonderful pets and terrific companions. But make no mistake, they can also become highly independent and downright moody if left alone with very little interaction on your part.
Cats also have certain behaviors, although instinctual in nature, that might have to be redirected. Biting and scratching are the first two that come to mind. After all, you don't want your cat scratching furniture or biting your fingers. But a cat can be trained to bite and scratch on more appropriate items.
